Use a mixed-size ball combination (e.g., 30–80mm) to enhance impact and grinding effects, maintaining a filling rate of 30–45%—overfilling causes energy waste, while underfilling reduces grinding intensity.
② control material conditions.
Ensure the feed particle size matches the mill’s design (avoid oversized particles) and adjust moisture content to 8–12%—excess moisture leads to agglomeration, and dry material increases dust and wear.
③ optimize operational parameters.
Regulate the rotation speed to 75–85% of the critical speed for optimal ball cascading, and maintain a stable feed rate to prevent overloading or underutilization.
④ enhance equipment maintenance.
Regularly replace worn liners and balls to preserve grinding efficiency, lubricate transmission components, and clear blockages in the discharge port promptly.
